So if you’re reading this now and you don’t know me, understand that the vast bulk of my playlist is generally full of Morrissey/The Smiths, Queen, and bands that I’m working with. So when I say “heavy rotation” I really should be saying “breaking up the monotony.” But that doesn’t sound nearly as flattering, and seems to defeat the purpose of listing off music…
- The Franks – Awesome stuff, think Cali Dictators.
- Xiu Xiu – OK, they count as someone I work with, but I really really love their last record. Amazing.
- Bob Dylan – Specifically The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan. Love that record.
- Jason Lytle – Just Like the Fambly Casette is a set of demos for Grandaddy’s last record.
FreeWheelin’? When you’ve got “Another Side Of…”?
Anyway, I’m confused, seein’ as how I’m trying to figure out what vegetable I’m supposed to eat today. I suppose I’ll stick with my usual brown rice, seaweed and a dirty hot dog until I find out.
I’m eatin’ pizza, I’m eatin’ bagels, I’m eatin’ chitlins.
You know it’s just that “Don’t Think Twice” is such a big deal for me. I know its got its roots in other songs, but there’s just something about it. But I’ll give “Another Side Of…” more of a chance.
PS: Today’s vegetable is crumpets. With cheese, thanks to Chris Bull.
